Well, I am qualified as a Reiki master, and am finding it fascinating working with both people and animals, working with this natural energy. I have always felt I could tune into animals, particularly horses, and I am thrilled that what I have been doing for years is a recognised skill.

Do you like drawing or painting? maybe you have never tried. Putting pen/paint to paper can be very therapeutic. No special paper or paint is needed- you could doodle on a scrap of paper, or try a colouring book. becoming engrossed in what you are doing can be very relaxing. Concentrating on something totally different can switch off a ‘busy brain’ and give you time out of your day to just be with yourself. here is a painting I did recently on an off-cut of wood from the garage, It took about an hour to do, and I thoroughly enjoyed examining the shape off different pictures of mushrooms.You can out your own interpretation on what you see- your painting does not have to be an accurate representation, but use your imagination!

As a therapeutic counsellor, a combined approach to psychotherapy enables me to bring together different elements of specific therapies to work in the best way to help you. I work in an integrative way with a view that there is no single approach that can help each client in all situations.
Animal assisted therapy
Animals can play a very important part in developing self-awareness, so my horses are very happy to help you, if you wish.
Indoor therapy may not be for everyone: being outdoors can be very grounding and healing – connection with nature can promote a sense of calm and serenity, even if the weather is bad! Nature is powerful and profound and can be refreshing for the soul.
Movement is good for both physical and mental health. Exercise boosts your mood, and improves physical awareness: classes are a great way to make friends.
Physical and emotional issues can have a huge effect on the body’s energy. self-heal. Reiki can help to rebalance the equilibrium between mind and body through deep relaxation.
Life can seem very busy. Taking a mental break through mediation helps you to discover a quiet place, away from the hustle and bustle of daily life.
