As an ‘older’ psychotherapist, supervisor, and equine-assisted therapist, my work is founded on my own life experience, which led me understand the value of having someone to talk to when life gets too much to cope with alone.
Moving forwards, my aim is to help you express feelings you may not have been able to voice before, and understand the traumatic impact of life-changing events, of grief (the loss of loved ones, both human and animal), childhood experiences, all of which can affect the ability to cope with day-to-day life.
Therapy takes place either in my cosy counselling room or outdoors, as part of ongoing counselling. Here is a short video, introducing how I integrate nature therapy into my practice.
I also offer therapy on-line using Zoom.
I work with short or long-term therapy for clients over the age of 18 years.

Other aspects of my practice:
Equine Facilitated Psychotherapy
As an established equestrian professional, with over forty years experience, I offer my unique approach: Feel Safe Equine Psychotherapy™ alongside the process of counselling from a trauma perspective. Horses are sensitive to subtle changes in our nervous system, and our body language. They are valuable partners in therapy. I work with adults on a one-to-one basis.
For Therapists
Why not experience equine facilitated psychotherapy for yourself as a therapist? We all need therapy at times in our lives, so contact me to find out more about challenging yourself on a deeper level than you have before as part of your therapeutic process.
I can also act as equine expert if you come with your own client (16 years of age and over). Please contact me for details.
Supervision
I am available for supervision for counsellors, equine therapists, and other professionals. Please contact me to discuss your requirements.
